Shelby passed away on Wednesday July 1st at about 11:30 PM of heart failure. We held grave side services on Monday July 6th at the Mountain Green Cemetery in Morgan Utah. We are so thankful that many of her family members were able to attend the services. Thank you to everyone who was able to come, we appreciate it more than you know. Shelby was able to touch many lives and we are thankful and proud to be her parents and can't wait to have her again.

I'm so sorry the kids and I couldn't be there with all of you during this time. We really wish we could have been. You were in our thoughts and prayers, as always. You two are so strong to be able to make it through this. Shelby will always be missed and loved. We love you!!

Jessica, this is Carolyn (Nelson) Detro. I found your blog a few weeks ago and was fascinated by your story, and have followed it. I just wanted to say how truly sorry I am about Shelby. She is such a beautiful little girl. You will see her again, and you guys are such amazing parents. Your story is so touching. Anyway, totally random that I am commenting, but I had to say it. :)
Jess i am So terribly Sorry to hear about your precious baby! I hwas in tears when my mom told me! I do want you to know that even tho we aren't technically related I love you anyways and my prayers are with you and Travis! And atleast Shelby had 2 loving and wonderful parents the short time she was here!
